There are several steps in planning a good website.
- Identify your goals - have an idea of what you expect to accomplish with your website.
- Determine what information you want to display on your website; are you marketing a product or publishing information?
- Determine who your taget audience is - keep your audience in mind during your entire development process.
- Determine the features you want your website to have. Have a good idea of how you want your user interface to look.

- Prepare a preliminary sketch or plans for work to be executed.
